Sparkly Soul Headband Review & Giveaway
If you follow me on instagram you’ve probably seen me talking up my Sparkly Soul Headbands. I won one from another bloggers giveaway a few months back and was recently contacted by Sparkly Soul to see if I wanted to host a review and giveaway of my own. Uh, hello! Anything with the name Sparkly in it was made for me. Obviously. I’ve had the Silver Thin Headband for a few months now and it is in my regular rotation of headbands. The silver goes with anything and it kinda reminds me of a Tiara. The thing I absolutely LOVE about it is that it literally does.not.move. I’ve worn this running, to…

Schwan’s Home Delivery
The giveaway is still open! Make sure you enter to win some Lululemon and a Race Entry of YOUR choice! Sometimes life gets busy. Who am I kidding? Life is ALWAYS busy. Being a wife, mom, student, blogger, CrossFitter, runner, and business owner is chaotic. I have talked about meal planning before, it seriously does help keep me sane. While meal planning is a time saver, I still end up having to hit up the stores for the groceries. Grocery shopping is a long process for me, especially if I have my 3 year old with me! When an opportunity to try out Schwan’s Home Delivery I jumped at the…

Weigh In Wednesday: How to Motivate Yourself {giveaway}
What up, homies! It’s Wednesday, that means it is time for Weigh In Wednesday! I’m linking up with Erin and Alex again, love the motivation of the community that comes with this link up! Monday was the last day of the Dietbet Spring Break Shape up, and I’m proud to say I finally weighed in under 190 and I’m still there today (even after last night’s cookie binge… Thanks Aaron!) So, I won the dietbet! Along with several other people. The buy in was $35 and we won $48.30. Not a HUGE win, but a win nonetheless! Remember the last few weeks I’ve talked about being in a funk? Well over the…

CORE Foods
I feel like I’m always on the go. Early morning CrossFit to working from home full time to being a wife and mom (which includes grocery shopping and errands) – it is a lot. Sometimes being on the go means that sitting down for a full meal is often a luxury. When I heard about CORE Foods through the FitApproach community I was excited to have the opportunity to test them out. I was sent one of each flavor: Raw Walnut Banana, Raw Cashew Cacao, & Raw Almond Raisin. The first thing I noticed about CORE foods Defender Meals are they are FRESH. They arrived with an ice pack and…

Designer Whey Protein
When I first started working out I didn’t really think about protein. In my mind Protein Powders were what all those muscle heads that stood by the free weights used. It was hard enough for me to figure out this whole exercise deal, adding in protein was like another variable in a crazy algebra problem that I couldn’t figure out. After watching my husband and his BFF use protein to supplement their diet and lose fat while gaining muscle I figured they were on to something. So I started using protein powder within 30 minutes of working out and occasionally as an afternoon snack to hold off the hunger. I…

Zensah Seamless Power Jacket
A few weeks ago I was sent a Zensah Seamless Power Jacket to try out and review. I was so excited about this opportunity because I already love my Zensah Compression Sleeves and knew the jacket would be great as well. They also have some pretty sleek color combinations. I resisted the normal urge to go all pink and decided to go with the black with pink accents. It is one sexy running jacket. The bubble gum zipper is such a fun pop of color. The top of the zipper has a zipper garage (didn’t know that was the official name for the fabric that keeps the zipper from pinching you… but…

FringeSport Bomba Bar Review
Last month I got the funnest package ever. I literally laughed out loud when I read “Caution: May Induce Fire Breathing” – I mean, how awesome is that? I have been talking with the guys from FringeSport about doing a product review for awhile and when they offered me a discount on the Bomba Women’s Bar in exchange for an honest blog review I couldn’t turn it down. Since starting CrossFit I’ve really fallen in love with the lifting aspect of it. I want to be strong. I want to be good. And that takes practice. Our CrossFit classes are well structured, but sometimes I want to work more on a…

Fitmixer Aminos {Giveaway}
Hey Ya’ll. Man, I’m dragging this week. SO much going on!! School started back up and that basically sucks the life out of my soul. Not to mention I’ve had trouble sleeping lately… Hubs said I was making some weird noises the other night and he thought maybe I had Sleep Apnea? I have been having issues with my nose and wonder if it is a deviated septum? That would account for sleeping trouble… which leads me to be foggy brained… anyway, that’s another story for another day. When the hubs and I started CrossFit we began exploring the world of supplements. One of the things that we really liked…

Coffee Date: Snack Attack!
I’m so thankful this week flew by. Hellllo Friday! and Hello Coffee Date! I look forward to Friday coffee dates. I like being able to “chat” with you all about whats going on! This week what has been on my mind? Snacks. Before we get into that lets talk coffee. I’ve been loving Green Mountain Coffee’s Wild Mountain Blueberry. It seriously tastes like a Blueberry Muffin. Ok- Now that we’ve drooled over my coffee… Let’s talk snacks. I have a little helper today! She loves snacks too! Since getting back from our CrossFit Level 1 on Monday and weighing in for the Dietbet I have been…

GEARing up for 2013 – Odds & Ends
Hallelujah it is Wednesday. That means tomorrow we head to Texas to meet up with some family, and in the wee hours of Friday morning we embark on the vacation we’ve been planning for over year. And it couldn’t have come at a better time. I am absolutely convinced that when you plan a vacation the chaos waits until those last few months to erupt… and the only reason you stay sane through it all is for the promise of a beach, sunshine, and two pina coladas (one for each hand). At least that’s how I’ve been lately. Also, why is it my kid gets sick the week before vacation?…
