Sometimes life gets busy. Who am I kidding? Life is ALWAYS busy. Being a wife, mom, student, blogger, CrossFitter, runner, and business owner is chaotic. I have talked about meal planning before, it seriously does help keep me sane. While meal planning is a time saver, I still end up having to hit up the stores for the groceries. Grocery shopping is a long process for me, especially if I have my 3 year old with me! When an opportunity to try out Schwan’s Home Delivery I jumped at the chance. Food delivered right to my door? Yes please!

I received Chicken Breast Meat For Fajitas, Roasted Peppers and Onions, and Triple Layer Chocolate Fudge Cake.

I was excited to have an already prepped meal ready to go at a moments notice. I was able to pull the Chicken and Peppers out of the freezer, add them to the pan and cook them up in less than 30 minutes! The chicken already had some seasoning on it, but I added some more cumin. I looove cumin! I put the chicken and pepper mixture on top of a bed of mixed greens and topped with salsa. It was the perfect fajita salad!

I was super excited about the chocolate cake. It just so happened that I had vanilla ice cream in the freezer. Perfecto! It may not be the healthiest choice, but sometimes you just need a piece of chocolate cake. The overall meal was pretty good. I’m still more of a fan of cooking my own food from scratch, but in a hurry this works great. I’d like to keep some meals in the freezer to have a better option available in a pinch. They have a whole section of healthy meals called LiveSmart that makes it easier for you to find the healthier meals on their site.
