Newsflash: I’m not Perfect.
Sometimes I wish life had a pause button. Or an extra day in the week. Or both. There should be a weekend for relaxing, then a buffer day, then the work week. How do we make that happen? To be honest, these last few months have been a blur. I have a tendency to get caught up in busyness and forget to ENJOY. The house needs cleaned, homework needs to be done, laundry needs to be washed (folded and put away), working 40ish hours a week, planning healthy meals, grocery shopping, working out, blogging/social media to keep up with… and the list goes on. At the end of the day…

We headed to Florida in January for the WDW Marathon, South Dakota Business Trip in February, Texas in March, Miami in June, Back to South Dakota in September, Chicago in September as well, and most recently to Florida just last week. Traveling can be hectic! Especially if you’re flying… with a toddler. There is so much to try to remember and coordinate. Here are a few tips to help you travel with less stress this holiday season. I usually like to wear loose layers, depending on where/when I’m traveling. I almost always work up a sweat trying to get through check in…

Six Flags St Louis – #KeysToSTL
We are still recapping this weekend, I told you it was a busy one!! After Friday nights STL Blogger Meet Up and the Zombie Survival Dash on Saturday Morning we changed clothes in the Tahoe. It was actually pretty roomy, we were able to easily change out of our running gear and get ready for a fun day at Six Flags St Louis. I was provided free entry as a part of the Chevy Keys to St Louis campaign, the same one that has let me drive their awesome Tahoe this week! Before heading to Six Flags we stopped for brunch at Denny’s. It has seriously been years since I’ve been…

10.11.12
Today is 10-11-12! How fun is that?! I feel like we should have a party… or a day off… or an all expenses paid trip to a beach resort… But we don’t. The closest thing I have to party right now is the Food Should Taste Good Prize Pack Giveaway – Don’t forget to enter! What else is going on today? I have an appointment with my Chiropractor to see what’s up with my shoulder. I actually got some decent sleep last night, but it was still painful. If you are in the O’Fallon, MO area and need a Chiropractor you have got to go to Back Pain Center. Dr. Matt…

5 years. We Eloped and survived!
5 years ago today I googled “preacher for wedding” 5 years ago I called the first guy I found and asked him if he could marry us. he said when. i said today. He laughed, but agreed. 5 years ago today I applied for a marriage license. 5 years ago today we eloped. It was the best decision, one we’ve never regretted (even though people swore we would). Since many of you weren’t around when I wrote the story of how we met, fell in love, and eloped – I decided today would be an appropriate day to share it. Enjoy! Original Post from June 7, 2011 So it was around…
