i should be doing homework…
but, i’m not. i’ve been doing just about everything except homework. i actually just got home from the gym, which is an acceptable reason for procrastination. (on a side note, please remind me never to go to the gym at 8pm. apparently that is when the entire city of wentzville decides to go to the gym as well. i hate crowded gyms. its one of my biggest pet peeves) and back to me writing about procrastination! giggles and zebras
Let me just start off by saying I’m SO happy that the nasty cranky teething monster that replaced my daughter for a week seems to have disappeared (hopefully never to return!) Yesterday she woke up her happy self, giggling and carrying on in her room. She gave me a big squishy face smile when I went in to get her. She laughed all morning, sometimes for no reason. We played for a long while in the afternoon where we laughed so hard both of us could barely breathe. I totally just soaked in those sweet moments, knowing I would probably need them to get me through whatever meltdown she has…

So, I have recently become obsessed interested in crocheting and sewing. I find myself getting lost in the seemingly endless circle of links on creative blogs like this one and this one. I find an idea that I love and then I can’t rest until I try it. Little P loves her “kit” (blanket) that a family member made for her and tries to drag it everywhere so I decided to make her a smaller “lovey” to carry around with her. If you have been in the Christian world for even a short period of time and are a wife/mother I’m sure you’ve heard of the Proverbs 31 woman. She is the “perfect” Christian woman. Proverbs 31:10-31 describes her. She is a wife of “noble character” a “virtuous woman.” I’ve heard about her for as long as I can remember. At one point in time I really didn’t like her. back on the wagon
…. the blogging wagon that is….while i have been faithfully reading my favorite blogs almost daily, sad to say i haven’t been doing too well updating my own. obviously. i feel like i’ve been trying to get back into a groove ever since we were on vacation at the end of last month. as soon as we got back i jumped right in to planning little P’s first birthday celebration (i plan on writing a blog about that… eventually). it was such a fun time celebrating with amazing friends and family. i can hardly believe she is one. i’ve still been recovering from that, along with starting another term of…
