Instant Gratification

Sometimes working on a “large” or “cumbersome” project can be draining. I’ve been working on one for a while now, little by little making progress. But when I work too long on a project and don’t see any results I start to lose my motivation. A few days ago I took a break from the big project and decided to put together a quick project to give me a little pick me up. I have been wanting to make Payt a kids size apron for awhile since she LOVES to help me cook. I’ve had my eye on Kelly’s apron pattern/tutorial at Sewing In No Man’s Land for awhile and just jumped right in. It was super simple and gave me that gratification that comes from actually finishing a project. Payt loved it too!

I asked her to stand by the wall so I could take a picture and this is what she did….
