    Coffee Date: Currently

    Hey Friends, happy Friday! It’s been a crazy few days over here! I’m currently in Mexico. We started off by flying to San Diego, which is absolutely beautiful! Then we took a bus across the boarder and drove into Ensenada to start our 2 day driving adventure. We are driving Baja Desert Buggies across Baja before heading back to San Diego for a day and then back to St Louis. I am currently really excited about our adventure. To be honest I was hesitant about it because I’ve never driven a manual car. Like ever. I’d say I did pretty good, only stalled it out like 5 times. Ha. So…

    Random Favorite Things

    I’m in a totally random and weird mood. I’ve got a lot on my mind so this is going to be a bit of a brain dump with a general category of my favorite things. Continue if you dare… It started to snow again last night. This morning I got up and got dressed for CrossFit but checked outside and didn’t think it was a good idea to be out on the roads at 430am… it was probably ok, looks slushy now, but I’m not a fan of driving in the snow at all. I mean, I grew up in Florida! I’d rather be safe than sorry. Hopefully it stays…

    Love my Silk Almond Milk

    Hey Friends!! Monday slipped away from me. We were traveling back from CrossFit Mayhem after a weekend doing our CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course and I was still on a high from the whole weekend. I’ll write up a whole recap this week, once I have time to process it all! Today I want to talk to you about Silk! I have been using Almond milk for awhile now. I don’t even really remember where I heard about it, probably another blog. ha. The first thing that really attracted me to almond milk was that an 8 ounce serving of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk has just 30 Calories! When making…

    Nature’s Sleep Memory Foam Slippers

    Working from home has it’s advantages and disadvantages. Despite what people may think, I don’t sit around all day in my PJs. I actually get dressed (even if it is just in a fresh pair of workout clothes…) but I don’t usually wear shoes. I sometimes find that my little toes get cold and need a little protection when taking the dogs out or checking the mail. I never quite found the right match of a slipper that would keep my feet warm as well as be durable enough to last through a lot of trips to the mailbox. That is until I received Nature’s Sleep Memory Foam Slippers to…

    Costa Rica White Water Rafting

    So, you know how I was freaked out about riding ATVs? And How I redeemed myself by not freaking out at all while ziplining? Yea… I was SO freaked out about White Water Rafting. More than the ATVs. When it came to rafting we were at the total mercy of mother nature. I couldn’t control the gas pedal or feel safe in my harness. I was sitting on the edge of an inflatable raft with my foot tucked under a simple strap to “keep me in” …. uhhhhh what?! Rewind…. We got picked up to go rafting, brought to the local office to fill out paperwork (aka – sign your…

    Top 10 Things Every Woman Should Know About Crossfit {guest post}

    I’m Pamela Kramer and after Crossfitting for more than two years now I feel more equipped to give some good solid advice. Due to an injury I’m on the outside looking in so I have a great deal of time to think. Some days this is good and some days it’s full throttle frustration! For me Crossfit has been such a great form of stress relief, a way to get a little me time and I sleep so much better. I’m not a youngster with a hard body doing Crossfit like you might have heard about. Nope, in fact I’m a married forty year old mother of four, who works…

    Happy New Year- 2012 in Review

    Happy New Year!! I can’t believe it is 2013. Sometimes I still think the 90’s were 10 years ago. Weird, I know. How did you ring in the New Year? We hung around the house with friends, played monopoly, and watched the ball drop (at 11…) and then at 12 we went out the garage and did a little workout. I practiced my double unders, and got 2! BAM! This is going to be the year of conquering the double under! I will RX a workout with Double Unders! The hubs threw the weights around for a bit but I wasn’t feeling it… it was after 12am after all… Looking…

    Blogging Day of Silence.

    As a mother I cannot even begin to express the heaviness in my heart in regards to Friday’s tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary. No words can do justice. So, I will be silent. In memory and respect of those precious little lives and those who died trying to protect them. Feel free to click on the graphic to donate to the United Way in honor of the victims and their families. Some other bloggers have organized the Sandy Hook Elementary Memorial Half Marathon and 5K. It’s a Virtual Half marathon or 5k, or whatever distance you’d like to run scheduled for January 31st – you can register HERE.

    Coffee Date: #itsaboutgiving

    Thank the Lord almighty it’s Friday. I feel like the weeks get longer and shorter at the same time. Weird. I have SO much going on right now that I totally forgot to record my video… So we are going old school with this Coffee Date. Ya ready? Grab your cup of Starbucks Christmas Blend (and if you don’t have some – go get some today… it’s on SALE!) and let’s chat! If we were having coffee I would probably thank you a million times over for getting me out of the house and away from this darn computer. Working on it 8 hours a day and then spending the…
