The Universe Knows #inspirationwear

I am a sucker for a good motivational quote. Put it on a shirt or mug and I have to have it. There is something about words that are just so powerful to me. The right quote can make the difference between a good and bad day for me. Sometimes I just need a little reminder to keep things in perspective. When I was sent a package of inspirational goodies from the universe knows I was over the moon with excitement. I’m not hard to please, ya’ll. Seriously, it’s the little things in life that make me the happiest.

I love their vision: to remind people of the wisdom that resides within, and inspire strength and courage to live with passion and purpose. 

I know for me it is SO easy to get caught up in life and lose that passion. These little things can help serve as inspiration. And they are all useful! The bistro mug is something I will use several times a week. The saying is “Commit to yourself” This is such a good reminder, especially for those of us who are wives and mothers. We can get so busy taking care of everyone else that we forget to commit to take care of ourselves.

I was also sent a personalized note and a hoodie embroidered with “Be the change” – Another golden nugget! When I see this I am reminded to complain less about what others need to change and focus more on how I can change things for the better.

My favorite of all the things I was sent was a leatherbound journal with the quote “Cherish the journey” – Uhm, hello. This was made for me. I am all about enjoying the journey. So many people focus on the destination. In my weight loss journey I’ve always said that it is more than just a before and after, its about who you become along the way. I’m excited for this journal because ever since I read The Happiness Project I’ve wanted to keep a 1 sentence journal, writing one sentence about the day each day. I’m looking forward to being able to do that!
