Weekly Workout Recap

 Good Morning Friends! I meant to post this yesterday so I could link up with Little Girl in the Big World, Sneakers and Fingerpaints and R is for Running – but I was on the couch all day sick 😦 So I’m linking up a day late

I’m feeling better today- but still pretty weak and out of it. Today is going to be a good day though… I get my 2012 Chevy Tahoe to drive for the week!! You’re going to see plenty more about it this week!

Last week’s workouts were awesome. Monday I was still nursing my shoulder and the workout at CrossFit was FRAN (thrusters and pull ups are not good on the shoulder!) so I decided to skip that one and did a quick workout in my garage.

Monday- Garage WOD

Tuesday- Back to CrossFit!

I had so much fun flipping the tires! Have you ever tried it?

Wednesday – CrossFit

It was one of the Box Owners birthdays, so of course we had to do a special WOD to celebrate. Filthy 35!

This was a tough one – I can’t imagine doing 50 of each! I was trying to convince everyone she was 29 and not 35… especially when I got to the burpees LOL!

Thursday- Interval Run

I wrote about this last week. I had such a mental running breakthrough! I think doing more CrossFit Endurance style running is going to help me a lot.

Friday- CrossFit

Snatches usually feel really weird for me – but I actually felt strong doing these ones! I’m still feeling the burn…

Saturday- CrossFit

Grace is a benchmark Girl WOD at CrossFit, to add to it we had to turn 180 degrees with the bar overhead. Talk about working the core! I also stayed after and conquered my fear of the box jump!

Sunday – Sick Day 😦

I meant to do another interval run on Sunday, but I was SO sick. BLAH.

It was a great week of workouts, I’m definitely feeling it! Let’s hope these workouts help me complete #operationpantsfit successfully!

  1. Sorry you’re under the weather. I had a terrible cold this month too and took forever to shake it.
    I love your CrossFit workouts! I’ve never been to a real CrossFit box, but enjoy adding elements of various WOD’s that I’ve seen on the internet to my own workouts, and those of my clients! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks, Tamara! Glad to be feeling better now. What I love about CrossFit workouts is that they are so varied! I’m sure as a trainer you look for ways to change it up. I love trying new things!

  2. Congrats on a great week! Being sick is the worst, because usually it’s on days that you want to work out even more! Nice job on the running breakthrough. And I have to say that I have a huge fear of the box jump too. I’m always afraid I’m going to trip, fall on my face, and flip over the box. I pretty much reject anything that required me to do box jumps.

    1. Man- that is so true! I wanted to go to CrossFit on Monday SO bad! There is just something SO mental about box jumps. Maybe it is the sharp corners and hard edges. Can we use a padded ottoman for jumps? HA!

  3. First of all – You are looking so good. Your face is thinning out! You look amazing!

    My workout week went well! I had 2 PRs last week! 205lb DL and 135 C&J! I was stoked.

    That birthday bash WOD sounds CRAZY! LOTS of reps!

    and sick days happen – sometimes your body needs a break and lots of sleep. No worries. Take the time you need to feel better and you’ll be back at it soon. 🙂

    1. Aw- Thanks Ash!! Hard work is paying off. I’ve gotta get back on track with my eating and I’ll be set. I’m determined to have a breakthrough during the holidays this year and not gain weight!

      2 PRs?! That is HUGE. I just PR’d my Clean & Jerk this AM… 95lbs!! It feels SO good!
