60 Day Challenge: Week 1 Check In

Has it really only been a week since the start of the 60 Day Challenge? It has been a loooong week! It started on Friday with our DXA Scan. Talk about a reality check. We knew basically what we had to do, so we just kinda jumped in head first.

Saturday was my first CrossFit workout, and I really enjoyed it. We also went and got a membership to Sam’s Club and stocked up on some basic health food staples like lean meat, fresh fruit and veggies.

We are following a sort of modified Paleo diet. We are still having some dairy and beans, but avoiding grains and such. This is great for me because of the possible link between my Hashimoto’s and having a gluten intolerance. I’m also keeping close track of my calories on myfitnesspal, staying around 1200-1500 depending on activity level.
