quick fix.

Payton has been in such a fun playful stage lately. We were over at a friends house and her daughter had one of those toy umbrella strollers for putting baby dolls in, and Payton totally loved it. So I was on a mission to find one. I knew they would have some at target or walmart, but I didn’t want to pay $10-15 for it. I ended up finding one for $3.99 at a local resale shop. The problem was the fabric was dirty and worn out, and not very pretty.

the old fabric (after my seamripper got a hold of it)

I used my handy dandy seam ripper and took apart the old fabric to use for a pattern, cut the pieces out of some fabric I had on hand, used grosgrain ribbon and pre-made bias tape I also had on hand and in less than 40 minutes (with a few breaks to re-start mickey mouse clubhouse) I had a new stylish cover for little Payt’s stroller. How fun!

New and Improved!

Just a quick little fix to make life a little prettier.
