Coffee Date

Coffee Date

Hey Friends!
How are you doing today? It’s been a whirlwind of a few days spending time with family in Texas. We are spending time with my husbands grandparents as they celebrate 50 years of marriage! I still wanted to sneak in a coffee date, you have a minute?

If we were having coffee I would tell you I absolutely love visiting small local coffee shops when traveling. We spent the morning walking around historic Grandbury and tried out Paradise Bistro on the square. I had the Paradise Cloud – a mix of coconut and raspberry. It was pretty sweet but totally delicious.

If we were having coffee I would tell you I have been enjoying a few days of “relaxed” eating, but I’m also so ready to get back to my meal plan an the gym. Especially because I’ve been stalking the Crossfit Games. I watched some of then masters competition and I was so inspired! I hope I look that good when I’m that old!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am SO thankful for my family. Spending extra time with them reminds me of how much I like them. Especially this handsome guy…

Sometimes I get caught up in the day to day of life and forget to stop and realize how blessed I am. So today, I’m extra thankful.

If we were having coffee, what would you tell me?!

  1. I LOVE going to new and small coffee shops too! It’s always so fun to check out different scenes and vibes and house special drinks. Especially since it feels like fall up here in Michigan, its even better coffee weather!
