NUXUSA #NuxLovesCrossFit Review

I received the items from NuxUSA to review through my partnership with FitFluential, as always all thoughts and opinions are my own!

I love workout gear. Being at the box 2x a day most days I practically live in it. When I was given the opportunity to try out some cute new activewear from NuxUSA I jumped at the chance. I shopped through their site for quite awhile and loved nearly everything. I have plenty of black capris so I decided to get the EOS Capri in Titanium. It is one of the items they had with an XL in stock, being a girl with a little extra junk in the trunk I was thankful for that.

As I looked through the tops I was drawn to the Dash: Union Cami stuck out, and of course it HAD to be in Vivid Pink. I love that this would allow for support, breathability and coverage at the same time.

When my package arrived I was giddy with excitement. I couldn’t wait to try them out at the box!

The WOD was going to be a tough one. I was going to put these clothes through their paces!

I will say that I immediately fell in love with the top. It wasn’t too tight or too loose. It has the built in bra with adjustable straps, which is awesome, but I wasn’t 100% confident that it would hold the girls in on their own, especially during burpees. I added in an extra sports bra just to be safe. As a “bigger” girl I really liked that this top was cut to allow for breathability with the openings on the back side, but it didn’t leave me feeling like all my stuff was exposed. It is cute, but modest at the same time.

I would wear this top alone on lifting days, but wouldn’t feel comfortable without extra coverage for high impact things like double unders or burpees.

The pants were great too. They didn’t have as much stretch as am accustomed to, probably due to sizing. These feel a little on the smaller side compared to other XLs I’ve work,  but I felt like all my jiggles were well controlled, which is important for Burpees!

The workout was a tough one. I may have cursed whoever thought it up a time or two… I finished in 17:30 – good enough for second place female of the day. I’ll take it!

Overall, I loved this outfit and would recommend NuxUSA if you are looking for some cute quality CrossFit Apparel.
