Coffee Date: Mud Runs and Mommy Moments
Friday!!!!
If I planned this out correctly I should be on my way to Florida by the time you read this. I’m super excited, but kinda stressed out about making sure I have everything plus the idea of traveling with my very vocal 2 year old. I get in these weird moods before I travel… I feel the need to clean the entire house really well because I hate coming home to a messy house. I also have to resist the urge to pack everything I own because “what if…” Like there isn’t a Target in Florida. ha.
So, Coffee Date time! This week I splurged and got my coffee from starbucks. Seeing as I have an early morning flight I’m guessing another one of these might be in my future. Does that mean we can have a double coffee date?
Well let’s just get into. This week is totally random. We’re talking about mud runs/running with friends and mommy moments
Your turn!
What would you tell me if we were meeting up for coffee?
Funniest thing your kid has ever said?

Loveeeee!!!! I like your accent. Do you travel a lot to race? Running in general gets expensive. I’m not sure the hubs would like me adding plane tickets and hotels… But that may need to go on my running bucket list! What’s the farthest you’ve run? I have only run 5Ks so far, and I’m happy and content with those 3.1 miles. 🙂

I have an accent?! Yes! I’m actually working part time for Pretty Muddy so this one was a work trip. I have traveled to race, back in January I did the Disney marathon! I didn’t finish because of their time cap, but I got to mile 21. I have also run a half marathon! 5ks are a fun distance, less stress I think.

Have fun in Flo–ridaaa! And I am just like you… I deep clean my house so that I walk in afterwards without being up to my elebows in laundry. 🙂

Glad I’m not the only one!!

Courtney, I really enjoyed your vlog. Jealous about the creme brulee latte. Never heard of that one, and the Starbucks here in Costa Rica sure doesn’t do the holiday flavors. (Whine). Enjoy the mud run. I think those sound like loads of fun, though the closest I’ve gotten was mud volleyball. Your little girl sounds like a bundle of giggles. Seems like she’d be a great housewife, or chef! 🙂 Have a great weekend.

No holiday flavors?! That is criminal. Mud run was tons of fun. Maybe you should organize your own! Or just play in the mud without the running… LOL

Have fun girl – safe travels…

Thanks Melanie!

You are going to have a BLAST, girl!! 🙂 I know exactly what you mean. I wish I had a friend to run with! Maybe I’ll have to start reaching out to some local people.
Have fun!!
Courtney
If you were closer I would totally be your running buddy! I don’t mind training runs on my own, but I love fun races with friends!

I always, always have to have my house sparkling clean before we leave– even if it’s just for 24 hours. David always asks me why.. Sure, it’s great to come home to.. but I still can’t verbally justify my obsession. 🙂 🙂

Maybe it’s genetic LOL
