18 Months

Happy Half Birthday to my little girl! I can hardly believe it has been a year and a half since she came into this world. It has been quite the adventure, to say the least. Just in these last few months I’ve been so impressed with how much she has grown up. She loves learning new words and is always asking “Whats that?” (except it sounds more like “wuuusssstthhhhaaaa?”) She loves to help mommy cook, sing, dance and play with her dogs. She loves to try to copy everything we say and do. She has started saying Have a Good Day (which mostly sounds like “Hab uh ood day”).

Not gonna lie though, this past week has been rough. Somehow she ended up with hand foot mouth disease, something i wouldn’t wish on the children of my worst enemy. She would sit there holding her mouth and crying saying “it hurts”. And there is nothing you can do for it but ease the pain. She had blisters on her hands and feet but those didn’t seem to effect her too much. The ones in and around her mouth were killer. I’m glad shes on the mend because I don’t think I could handle much more of it.

Here a few of my recent snapshots of little P in action.
