When I first started working out I didn’t really think about protein. In my mind Protein Powders were what all those muscle heads that stood by the free weights used. It was hard enough for me to figure out this whole exercise deal, adding in protein was like another variable in a crazy algebra problem that I couldn’t figure out. After watching my husband and his BFF use protein to supplement their diet and lose fat while gaining muscle I figured they were on to something.
