One Month Nutrition Check In Results (Weigh In Wednesday)

I made it!! I survived my first month on my new nutrition plan! And I am ready for month 2!!

To be honest I had no idea what to think when I first started on this new plan. To break it down for you I am basically eating 6ish meals a day, switching between Low Calorie (1600) and High Calorie (2000) days. It’s not just about the calories though, I also have a personalized breakdown of macronutrients (Protein-Fat-Carbs). Please keep in mind that nutrition is SUCH a personal thing. What works for me may not work for you. It really is all about figuring out what works for YOU. And this is working for me! My last check in was 2 weeks ago and since then I have:

dropped another 1.43% body fat
lost 2.86lbs of fat
GAINED 1.1lbs of lean mass
lost 9mm on the skinfold test
lost 1.25″ overall

Say whhhhaaat! That feels SO good. The scale this morning was at 186.2! Seriously the lowest I ever remember being in my adult life. The morning I first went to check in with my nutritionist I weighed in at 192. So 6lbs on the scale, but I moved around some fat for muscle in the process… which is exactly what I want! So check out my total results from Month 1…

HUGE!!! I’m so excited about these results. I felt so lean when I went in for my check in. It is such a great feeling! We changed up a few things for the next few weeks to make sure I don’t stall… I have a dreaded history of crapping out on weight loss after a few weeks. Progress feels good. After fighting through some slumps and plateaus it’s nice to feel good about what I’m doing. I’m the busiest I’ve ever been, but I’ve made eating right a priority. I take it one meal at a time, one day at a time. Progress happens when you’re consistent. And I have proof.

Seriously, what a difference a year makes! I hope you all know you CAN do this too. Just take it one meal at a time, one day at a time!

What progress are you celebrating today?
