Coffee Date

Coffee Date: What’s Beautiful

Friday could not come soon enough this week. With all the adventures in Pittsburgh plus the travel this week has been so hectic… like a constant game of catch up! I feel like the weekends are really my time to “reset” mentally and get ready to tackle another week, and being go go go all weekend, coming back and jumping right back into another week has left me desperate for a little rest. My body begged for it so I took this morning off from CrossFit only to wake up with a scratchy throat and pounding head… of course. Regardless of how I’m feeling I’m still excited for our coffee date!

If we were having coffee, I would want to talk to you about the definition of beautiful. See, we are always being bombarded with media and images showing us what we should think is beautiful. Like beauty only has one face. Magazines and advertisements telling us all about the beauty secrets… how to lose the weight, apply the right make up the right way to cover up all our flaws… but I don’t think beauty has just one face. just one type of body. I would tell you that each of us has our own version beautiful, none better than others.

I’m working on a campaign with Under Armour through FitFluential to help redefine What’s Beautiful. Here is a bit about it:

If we were having coffee I would ask you to join me on this journey. I’ve set a pretty big goal for myself.

It won’t be easy. But I’m worth it. And you are too. So come join me on this journey! You can set your goal here. We can crush it together and document our journey along the way. There are lots of prizes and swag to be won… and a 4 day trip to Costa Rica is the grand prize! Feel free to follow my profile or join my team (Team MILF!) so we can encourage one another on this journey!

If we were having Coffee, what would you tell me?
What goal do you want to CRUSH?

I’m participating in this campaign with UA through FitFluential… but even if I wasn’t I’d tell you about this because I think it is awesome.
