My Fitness Bucket List

Bucket lists have been becoming more and more common place lately. It is a list of things that people want to do before they “kick the bucket” so to say. I have made several of these lists myself. Lately I’ve noticed that my bucket list has been growing more in the area of fitness activities. Recently my fellow FitFluential Ambassadors and I were asked to make a Pinterest Board representing our Fitness Bucket Lists, and I was so excited to do so! You can find mine here. I wanted to share some of my favorite bucket list items with you guys!

First thing I knew that I wanted to add to my Fitness Bucket List was the runDisney Goofy Challenge!

If you’ve been around the blog awhile you might have read about my WDW Marathon DNF. That moment I made up my mind that I would return one day, and I knew I would have to more than make up for the DNF. That’s why I want to do the Goofy Challenge!

While we’re talking runDisney….

I would love love LOVE to run the Princess Half!!

Staying on the topic of running, I know that in order to achieve these goals I will need some guidance. Which is why one of my Fitness Bucket list items is to get e-coaching from Dorothy Beal from Miles Posts. Seriously, this lady is amazing. She has run like 20 marathons and trains for them while pushing her three kids in a triple stroller. She has a contagious optimism and tons of knowledge and experience in the running world.

She is actually in a contest right now to be on the cover of Women’s Running and needs your help. Can you click here and vote for her? She deserves it!

Another huge part of my Fitness Bucket List is becoming a certified Health Coach. This is a huge goal for me. I plan on attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition at some point to do so.

Finally, one of my most recent goals includes going to the Reebok CrossFit Games! They are actually going on right now. Get this- the competitors arrived and checked in on Monday expecting to start competing on Friday… but they were told they would start Wednesday with an ocean Swim/ Sandy Bike/Mountain Trail Run followed by a bracketed obstacle course event! If a surprise triathlon doesn’t test your fitness level I don’t know what would! Ideally I would be at the games to compete… but I’d settle for spectating and/or reporting about them! Ha!

That picture is from yesterday’s “run” portion of the triathlon. Looks more like a hike, right? I love CrossFit.

Stay tuned for more updates and ramblings about the CrossFit games as the weekend goes on. You can follow the action on twitter with the hashtags #CrossFitGNC and #2012RCFGames

Your turn! What are some of your bucket list items… Fitness Related or not!
