For some reason when I was growing up I though that wearing glasses was super cool. I talked about it all the time. When I was in 11th grade I kept noticing I had a harder time reading the projector at the front of the class. My mom didn’t believe me. She thought that I was making it up so I could get glasses. Turns out I wasn’t (told ya, Mom!) At that point I didn’t really think about the design or cost of glasses. I just picked what my parents told me I could.

Fast forward 8 years and now I have gone through more pairs of eyeglasses than I can count, each with their own story and price tag. I went through a period in life when Mr Dreamer and I were both making a good amount of money and I spent a few hundred dollars on some designer glasses from an expensive boutique. A few months later my lovely adorable puppy decided they would make an awesome chew toy. I still don’t know how I didn’t kill her that day… That experience made me realize that while I needed to find a way to have stylish glasses without the designer price.

I am happy to say that I think I have found a great way to find cheap eyeglasses that are still stylish! Looking through the GlassesUSA website it is easy to see they have great designs at even better prices. They even have a whole section for discounts!

When I was checking this out I was a little unsure about buying glasses online because you don’t know how they will really look on your face. They thought about that and found a great solution, the virtual mirror. It is awesome because you can upload a picture and try different types of glasses on your face. I had some fun “trying on” different styles but found my favorite pair was similar to the style I normally go for
